A TRUE esd carpet offers many advantages over other ESD  floor covering materials.  Finally,  heel scuff marks (and the associated maintenance cost) are a thing of the past.  In addition, static conductive carpet fibers allow user induced electrostatic potential to dissipate to ground and are further eliminated via a harmless, continual controlled corona discharge phenomena (similar to static control aircraft wicks) providing an extremely low static generation potential.

While there are several grades of anti-static carpet that merely reduce the electrostatic charge  by using a temporary coating, UltraStatic Control Carpeting features a permanent solution to ESD by interweaving continuous conductive yarn filaments and solution dyed high strength nylon into every yarn bundle (creating  infinite conductive contact points).  This proprietary technological advancement allows our clients to enjoy the utmost in consistent electrical properties combined with  wear and stain resistance that's second to none (in even the toughest, most stringent industrial applications).
