WHY ELECTRASTAT ESD CARPET TILES? ElectraStat Static Control carpet tiles provide numerous advantages over mere off the shelf "anti-static" carpet and protect sophisticated electronics from the damaging effects of an electrostatic discharge! Mere anti-static carpeting simply reduces the static discharge to less than what a person can feel (about 3,000 volts).
