WHY ESD FLOOR TILES?

ESD tiles were first invented in the United States of America around 1950. Since that time Anti Static Floor Tiles have grown to be a common choice in esd flooring for static control. These original tiles relied on a variegated conductive carbon pattern extending throughout the thickness of the tile to provide electrical conductivity. Many tiles still rely on this variegated pattern but newer non variegated tiles are quickly gaining popularity with the Architectural Community and design selective clientele. ESD tiles are fairly easy to install but directions for installation must be followed meticulously. They provide excellent color options and consistent long term electrical properties. All ESD tiles are fairly easy to replace (should the tiles become worn of damaged). But remember Dye lots can change! We recommend ordering a few extra tiles with your initial order for "attic stock."
