Quick Tip Number 3,287: The following 12 colors in ESD tiles are available in ESD conductive
OR static dissipative. General consensus in most electronic
manufacturing environments shows ESD conductive flooring as
preferable due to the extreme ESD sensitivity of many of today's
advanced micro-components. An ESD conductive flooring
material will move the electrostatic potential to ground faster than
a static dissipative esd flooring material providing a more thorough
(yet still controlled) discharge. Static dissipative ESD flooring materials are often the
preferred choice when working with high voltage power supplies etc.

flooring in combination with esd footwear and why static conductive
is now preferable over static dissipative please visit: ESD
