material used for table top coverings in static control areas.
Like ALL homogenous vinyl esd mats Econostat is highly dependent on humidity for conductivity and
rarely
meets the new requirements for conductivity in electronic assembly when
the humidity is low. If
compliance to the new standards are a requirement please consider an
advanced tri-layer anti static mat such as our
ElectraDyne 167G Anti Static Table Top
Matting. ElectraDyne 167G
is about the same price and provides permanent, stable and
compliant electrical properties.
Econostat is perfect for
packaging areas or any area requiring a clean surface with low static
generating capabilities. This material isn't recommended for use with our ESD Constant
monitors.
